My father is the person who inspired me to make this app.
Wherever he brought us, he captured the moment — me and my family, on his old point-and-shoot and his old handheld video camera. I didn't truly see it until he passed away. Going through all of the photos and videos he took, I realised he had always been watching us, and that every one of those pictures was his way of giving my family his support and his love.
He wasn't using a high-end professional camera. It didn't matter — the moments he took still touch my heart.
Every moment he created for us is precious. To this day, I still look back at those photos and think about him.
He gave me my first camera. I broke a few cameras that he bought with his hard-earned money, and still he supported my dream and every idea I had in photography and videography.
Today I made Nost Camera to recreate the look of those photos and videos — and to inspire more people to capture their moments, everywhere they go.
